This Fall's color trend is my favorite because it is lots of shades of purple!! I love purple it is my favorite color. Plum is especially in, some consider plum to be a reddish purple and others a dark purple. I love either shade! Also dark vampy lips are in, I have never wore a dark red lipstick before but I would not mind taking a risk in trying it.
Now for nail color these shades are also in but I came across a new color by Essie for this fall called Don't sweater it. Not sure if it is available just yet, their website does not have it up. I saw this in September 2012 Glamour issue. It is described as a warm cashmere mauve color, lovely.
I think at one point or another we find ourselves waking up and having puffy eyes in the morning. Usually it's from lack of sleep, bad circulation, or too much water retention in our body. I was reading about some at home remedies that seem to work, well I've tried two of these before and they work for me. Below are some solutions to try for puffy eyes. Enjoy!
1. Chilled bags of green tea or black tea. dip two bags in water and chill for about 10 minutes or so(don't them dry out). Place them over the eyes.
2.Cucumbers. Chilled slices may help but mashing them and placing them in thin gauze and over eyes lets the cucumber settle into the skin better. Remember to chill them.
3.Cold water. I think this is like the classic tip. Washing your face with cold water will help inflammation over the entire face. I've done this plenty of times. Especially just on the eyes.
4.Avoid water retention. Drink plenty of fluids and ease on the salt in foods. Salt can make not only the face but the entire body puff up.
You can also try over the counter eye de puffers. Though I can't say they work that great. I did buy Yes to Cucumbers soothing eye gel. And I really like it, I don't know if it works for puffiness 100%, but it definitely makes my under eye area feel really nice when I apply it. It has a very cooling and relaxing sensation, plus it works for dark under eye circles as well.
In the past few months I have added a few cosmetic items to my makeup train case. Let me start off with the NARS sheer matte foundation. My shade is the color ceylan and I love the coverage. The coverage is medium and it does not leave my face oily at all. Next Make Up Forever's Lift concealer. I really have fallen in love with this concealer because it does not leave crease lines under the eyes like most of the concealers I have used. Urban Decay's Eye Primer potion, this is the first time I use high end eye primer and let me tell you its well worth it. Definitely makes eye shadow stay on longer than a drugstore brand. My sister says the Paula Dorf line actually has a pretty good eye primer as well, which is true, she has used it on me and its amazing. And last but not least Illamasqua blush in Hussy. A very pretty bright pink, but when I apply it it doesn't look bright...it almost looks like a pinkish peach doll cheek color on me. It is definitely build able so you can make it look dramatic or subtle. Pics below!

It's been 7 months since I last posted on here, having a job and many responsibilities really does eat up time. Anyway, I came across a nail polish color on a friends page and well I just fell in love with it. It is from a line called Kleancolor that is based out in California. Unfortunately it is not sold in the area I live in. So next best thing, Amazon.com. The shade is called Starry Purple and its by Kleancolor.
I recieved the nail polish a few days ago and decided yesterday to get a manicure. This color is so beautiful it makes your nails look like a christmas tree ornament. I am definitely loving this shade. Another plus is that I only paid $2.90 for the polish on Amazon when originally it costs about $8 in stores. It is a legit China Glaze product too not a fake. It is alot more glittery in person than in the picture. I kind of think it looks like a real strawberry red, love it!
My huband and I are selling a Whirlpool washer and dryer. It is practically brand new, only used it for a year and was purchased a little over a year ago. We can not use them in our new apartment because there is no washer/dryer hook ups. Also our apartment is very small and right now we have them in the living room waiting to be sold. We are asking for $520 or $270 if sold separately. It is a great deal , we paid 900 for them and they are in great condition. If interested please contact 201 694 3445. I posted a picture of them below.
I'm in a search to finding two certain colors from the Let it Snow collection by China Glaze. So far I know Amazon has it for under 3 dollars but then I have to pay shipping for each since the colors I want are from different venders. Apparently Sally's beauty supply store carries a bunch of the colors but they sell them in sets. I just want Ring in the Red and Twinkle Lights. Of course from what I saw online the two colors I want are sold in two seperate sets. Just to make sure I will call the store to see if they happen to sell them individually. These are two very christmasy colors I must say. Besides the those, they have a few more to the collection, visit www.chinaglaze.com. Below I posted two shades. Happy Holidays!
Twinkle Lights:a red, green, and gold subtle glitter
Ring in the Red : a glittery red cherry shade
I recently bought Suave's Dry Shampoo, my sister had recommended it. I told her I was searching for something inexpensive but also one that will not leave a white residue behind. I know that about 90% of Dry Shampoos are made for people with straight hair since the product has to be brushed out. So I went ahead and bought it, I've used it twice and as of now I like it. I try to spray it as it is directed on the bottle about 10 inches away from the hair. I do not need to brush my hair out, I guess since I spray it pretty far. It leaves a nice citrusy scent not too overwhelming. I would recommend this product because there is no need for your hair to smell or be oily between washes. Since I have curly hair I can not wash my hair everyday, I try to do it every two days. Sometimes I find myself washing it two days in a row because my hair absorbs odors in the air. So with this I can go without washing for a couple days and feel confident. Another reason I specifically would recommend the Suave brand is because it's super affordable, this cost less than $3.
I have never used any Suave hair care products. Lately I have been hearing great things about their professional line. Alot of girls with curly hair have said it works for them and it is super affordable. Suave's basic classic shampoos are about 94 cents at Walmart and their new collection is $1.80 for a bottle. Still a great deal if you ask me. This was probably the cheapest shampoo and conditioner I have ever used and it was pretty good. I was scared that it was going to be poor quality because of the low price but I was definitely wrong. I bought the one in Almond and Shea Butter it smells wonderful and left my curls soft and it didn't weight down my curls. They have different kinds for different hair types. I would consider purchasing this again since it is such a bargain. So add this to your list of drugstore shampoos because it is worthy!
For the past two months I have not been posting as much as I use to. This is due to my job search. I have been looking for work like crazy and seem to have no luck. I want to spread the word of my determination on finding a job. Of course a hobby I enjoy is blogging and well if I can get a job doing that, it would be amazing. On the other hand I also have plenty of experience in other fields. For one I have experience working in a bank which by the way is a pretty good job. Also, customer service has played a huge role in just about all the jobs I've had. I would like to work for an Ecommerce or beauty/fashion website doing customer service. A place I recently applied to was Ulta, my favorite store! A receptionist job is also something I would be interested in. So if anyone out there reads this and happens to know of a job opening let me know. I live in North Jersey/Bergen County area. I will provide my email address below. Again anything in the following will be good: Customer Service, Receptionist, Store Associate for a well known Beauty/Skin store (no telemarketers please).
