Ring in the Red nail color by China Glaze review.

Thu, 12/08/2011 - 4:03PM by JenniferVL 0 Comments - 4 Views

I recieved the nail polish a few days ago and decided yesterday to get a manicure. This color is so beautiful it makes your nails look like a christmas tree ornament. I am definitely loving this shade.  Another plus is that I only paid $2.90 for the polish on Amazon when originally it costs about $8 in stores. It is a legit China Glaze product too not a fake. It is alot more glittery in person than in the picture. I kind of think it looks like a real strawberry red, love it!

Washer and Dryer for sale , pass on! in Ridgefield Park, NJ

Thu, 12/08/2011 - 12:05AM by JenniferVL 0 Comments - 4 Views

My huband and I are selling a Whirlpool washer and dryer. It is practically brand new, only used it for a year and was purchased a little over a year ago. We can not use them in our new apartment because there is no washer/dryer hook ups. Also our apartment is very small and right now we have them in the living room waiting to be sold. We are asking for $520 or $270 if sold separately.  It is a great deal , we paid 900 for them and they are in great condition. If interested please contact 201 694 3445. I posted a picture of them below. Whirlpool

Let it Snow! collection by China Glaze

Tue, 11/22/2011 - 11:59PM by JenniferVL 0 Comments - 5 Views

I'm in a search to finding two certain colors from the Let it Snow collection by China Glaze. So far I know Amazon has it for under 3 dollars but then I have to pay shipping for each since the colors I want are from different venders. Apparently Sally's beauty supply store carries a bunch of the colors but they sell them in sets. I just want Ring in the Red and Twinkle Lights. Of course from what I saw online the two colors I want are sold in two seperate sets. Just to make sure I will call the store to see if they happen to sell them individually. These are two very christmasy colors I must say. Besides the those, they have a few more to the collection, visit www.chinaglaze.com. Below I posted two shades. Happy Holidays!

Suave Dry Shampoo

Mon, 10/10/2011 - 1:37AM by JenniferVL 0 Comments - 7 Views

I recently bought Suave's Dry Shampoo, my sister had recommended it. I told her I was searching for something inexpensive but also one that will not leave a white residue behind. I know that about 90% of Dry Shampoos are made for people with straight hair since the product has to be brushed out. So I went ahead and bought it, I've used it twice and as of now I like it. I try to spray it as it is directed on the bottle about 10 inches away from the hair. I do not need to brush my hair out, I guess since I spray it pretty far. It leaves a nice citrusy scent not too overwhelming. I would recommend this product because there is no need for your hair to smell or be oily between washes. Since I have curly hair I can not wash my hair everyday, I try to do it every two days. Sometimes I find myself washing it two days in a row because my hair absorbs odors in the air. So with this I can go without washing for a couple days and feel confident. Another reason I specifically would recommend the Suave brand is because it's super affordable, this cost less than $3.

Cheapest shampoo and conditioner but not cheap in quality!

Thu, 10/06/2011 - 12:54AM by JenniferVL 0 Comments - 84 Views

I have never used any Suave hair care products. Lately I have been hearing great things about their professional line. Alot of girls with curly hair have said it works for them and it is super affordable. Suave's basic classic shampoos are about 94 cents at Walmart and their new collection is $1.80 for a bottle. Still a great deal if you ask me. This was probably the cheapest shampoo and conditioner I have ever used and it was pretty good. I was scared that it was going to be poor quality because of the low price but I was definitely wrong. I bought the one in Almond and Shea Butter it smells wonderful and left my curls soft and it didn't weight down my curls. They have different kinds for different hair types. I would consider purchasing this again since it is such a bargain. So add this to your list of drugstore shampoos because it is worthy!

More Drugstore goodies to love

Wed, 09/21/2011 - 5:47PM by JenniferVL 0 Comments - 13 Views

As you all know by reading my blogs or by personally knowing me is that I have lots of curly hair. I use hair products that are for dry damaged hair or anything that says hydrate or moisturizing on the label. Here is a surprise, I used my husband's shampoo and conditioner which is Garnier's Daily Care for normal hair. Well it worked wonders! I was shocked because a shampoo for normal hair would never leave my hair soft. My hair feels so soft I don't even know how to describe it. It makes my curls look so pretty too. I had purchased Loreal's Sulfate free hydrating shampoo for myself. Honestly the Loreal sulfate free product did not hydrate very well. It did a great job in cleaning my hair, it felt refreshing but there was a certain dryness to it as if it left it too squeaky clean. It's funny how sometimes the things we least expect to work out end up working the best. So curly hair friends don't be afraid to try a product not meant for curly hair or not meant for dry hair. You will surprise yourself on some good quality products that will deliver positive results.

Let's talk razors, how many of you women like to use men's shave razors because they simply do the job super good? I know I use to and I would use the Gillette fusion razor for men to shave my legs/underarms. I decided to try out a ladies razor one more time just to see if well I would change my mind. I purchased the Venus Embrace Shine shave razor. This is the one that comes with refill-ables not the disposable kind. It was under $6 for the razor and the refill-ables are around $14 but it comes with about 5 refills. I am content with the razor and I do plan on purchasing the refills. Finally a good feminine razor!!

Feminine wipies! This is very common now and days for ladies to carry them in their handbags or even have them in their bathroom. It is definitely a good fresher upper for anytime you feel unfresh or just want that extra freshness. The brand  Always wipes to go is super convenient for carrying in handbags or gym bags. They also are sold in packages you can keep at home. It may seem like a little too much information but Always wipes are really good for that time of the month, they really clean and refresh.

Looking for work! (I posted this to BellaSugar Q&A by accident)

Wed, 09/21/2011 - 5:14PM by JenniferVL 0 Comments - 5 Views

For the past two months I have not been posting as much as I use to. This is due to my job search. I have been looking for work like crazy and seem to have no luck. I want to spread the word of my determination on finding a job. Of course a hobby I enjoy is blogging and well if I can get a job doing that, it would be amazing. On the other hand I also have plenty of experience in other fields. For one I have experience working in a bank which by the way is a pretty good job. Also, customer service has played a huge role in just about all the jobs I've had. I would like to work for an Ecommerce or beauty/fashion website doing customer service. A place I recently applied to was Ulta, my favorite store!  A receptionist job is also something I would be interested in. So if anyone out there reads this and happens to know of a job opening let me know. I live in North Jersey/Bergen County area. I will provide my email address below. Again anything in the following will be good: Customer Service, Receptionist, Store Associate for a well known Beauty/Skin store (no telemarketers please).

essence of Beauty cosmetic brushes.

Sun, 09/04/2011 - 8:53PM by JenniferVL 0 Comments - 41 Views

This is another affordable brand of makeup brushes. Along with Eco Tools (which are pretty good) essence of Beauty delivers quality and comfort. Individual hand held brushes start from $3 - $8 and assorted hand held brush packs from $8 - $12. essence of Beauty can be purchased at CVS pharmacy.  These prices are crazy affordable and I personally think they are good, they are not rough or frail. Great option for travel or just for everyday use.

NYX HD Eye Primer & NYX Golden/Rust/Walnut Eyeshadow Trio Review

Sat, 09/03/2011 - 5:42PM by JenniferVL 0 Comments - 58 Views

NYX HD Eye Shadow base - $6.99

I never use eye primer but I started to use it because I hate when my eye shadow creases. I purchased the NYX eye shadow base at Ulta, so far have used it twice, and I really like it. Eye shadow base is a lot thicker than face primer so I can see why it's better to have a separate primer for the lids. This was also a great price.

NYX Eye Shadow Trio in Golden/Rust/Walnut - $8.00

This was surprisingly a very beautiful combination also great pigment/stay on color. A nice trio for Fall & Winter possibly even Spring. The Golden is truly gold, the Rust is like a cranberry color (very pretty, I have never wore this shade before), and the Walnut is a subtle brown. Since I am impressed with this trio I might look into buying more NYX eye shadows in the future.

Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner

Tue, 08/30/2011 - 10:58PM by JenniferVL 0 Comments - 16 Views

If you hate toners that leave your skin super red or with a stingy feeling, well then this toner is definitely for you. I love the Neutrogena Alcohol Free Toner because it doesn't burn, plus it leaves my skin nice and soft.  It certainly takes away any left over dirt/oil my face may have after washing.  I purchased this about a month and a half ago just didn't get around to posting a review.
